Kids Create: Holiday Ornaments In-Person
Use a variety of craft materials to make two different kinds of winter holiday themed ornaments! Participants may bring a snack to eat before the program begins. Grades 3rd - 6th. Registration is required!
ATTENTION: Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. the Thursday before each after-school program is scheduled. This allows the Library time to make arrangements with the school's main office. On the program date, students will gather in the WSS cafeteria where a Library staff member will pick them up at 3:10 p.m. All after school programs last 1 hour unless listed otherwise.

Miss Melissa is a Librarian Trainee at the Woodward Memorial Library, primarily in the Children's Room but she enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since January 2014. She leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality!
Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Jodi Picoult, Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, Lemony Snicket and J.K. Rowling, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
