Ingham Book Discussion In-Person

The Ingham Book Discussion group meets once a month from September to June at both 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM to discuss fiction, non-fiction, and classics. New members are always welcome! In February we will be reading Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center. A copy of this month's book can be requested by calling the Library at (585) 768-8300 or visiting the circulation desk. It will also be available through Overdrive/Libby as both an ebook and e-audiobook.

This is an adult program.

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
