Books & Beyond: Jack-o-Lantern In-Person
Listen to the story Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell, then make your own jack-o-lantern flip book using silly pumpkin faces! Geared towards grades PreK - 3rd. Registration is required!
ATTENTION: Registration closes 48 hours before all after-school programs. This allows the Library to make arrangements with the school office. On the program date, students will meet a Library staff member at the entrance of the school closest to the Library, by the Cafeteria. All after school programs last for 1 hour unless listed otherwise!
Reminder: Masks must be worn by any unvaccinated participants, while inside the Library!

Event Organizer
Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality!
Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
