Fingers & Toes Storytime In-Person

Join Miss Angelina for a new storytime and craft program perfect for children ages 0-2! In this program she will share stories and songs and walk you through a themed handprint or footprint craft!* This month, listen to the story The Night Before St. Patrick's Day by Natasha Wing, then make handprint Shamrocks! Geared towards children 0 - 2 years - registration is required!

*Your first to-go kit will include a foam paintbrush and a picture frame. Each month we will create a new handprint or footprint craft that you can put in your frame. Please keep your paintbrush to use for next month’s craft!

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
