Craft Kits To Go In-Person

Pick up a to go craft kit from the Library anytime during the week & then take it home to watch the instructional video while you make it! Geared towards ages 5 - 11! Videos posted on our Facebook page Fridays at 11:00 AM under the video playlist titled "Craft Kits To Go" & can be watched at any time. Registration is required - so we know how many kits to prepare.

You must sign up for each week individually:

7/6: Clothespin Dragons (Monday since we are closed Friday the 3rd)

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
