Teen to Go: Creative Cookies In-Person

Does your child love creating art with their food? Join Nikki Paille from Sweet Treats by Nikki for a fun video tutorial on how to decorate some of her most popular kid's cookies! A kit containing cookies, frosting, and sprinkles will be provided to each registrant! Pick up a kit from the Library anytime during the week & then take it home to watch the instructional video while you make it! This week only is geared towards ages 8 and up! Video posted Monday the 17th at 2:00 PM on our Facebook page under the video playlist titled "Teen To Go" & can be watched at any time. Registration is required - so we know how many kits to purchase.

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
