Parent and Me: Ice Cream Canvas Painting In-Person
Led by local artist Morgan Wagner, use a stencil or draw your ice cream, then paint them with fun colors. Adults and kids will each receive their own canvas to paint, once complete canvases can be displayed side-by-side to create one image. Please register in pairs. Ages 3-17 years with an adult! Registration is required!

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse in 2023. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality!
Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Emily Henry, Jodi Picoult, Sally Hepworth, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are Sarah Dessen, Jennifer Niven, and Maureen Johnson.
