Creative Writing Club In-Person
Learn about different styles of writing, then create your own poems and stories using a number of fun writing exercises! Opportunities to share will be provided. Grades 3rd-6th, registration is required!
Session Descriptions: Please register for each session separately.
Monday, August 12th: Let’s write! In this free-write class, students will brainstorm different story ideas and create in whichever format they prefer - graphic novels, poetry, chapter books, first person narrative - anything goes!
Please note: If your child is attending 5th - 7th Grade STEAM Club at the school, these programs have been scheduled so that they can come to the library right after. For your convenience, we will notify Mrs. Tran (school librarian) of which kids will be attending the library program. On the days of our programs a Library staff member will pick up these students at the Library's back door at the time of STEAM Club dismissal (12:30pm). Students may bring a snack to eat before the Library program begins.
