Groovy Moves: Family Sing-a-long In-Person

Led by special guest Marianne Skye. Join us for a family style sing-and-move-along program, filled with action songs and musical games. It is packed with so many fun classic children’s songs, that you won’t want to sit for long! 0-5 years and their families.*

We will have 3 different sessions of this program, if you want to attend all of them please register for each session individually!

Tues. July 9 from 6:00 - 6:45 PM

Sat. July 27 from 10:30 - 11:15 AM

Wed. August 14 from 10:30 - 11:15 AM

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Emily Henry, Jodi Picoult, Sally Hepworth, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
