Adult Craft Night: Papermaking

Adult Craft Night: Papermaking In-Person

Join artist Julie Lambert Coleman for this hands-on exploration of the art of making paper. Participants will learn a brief history of paper and how to make it, then they will pull a sheet of handmade paper and craft it into a unique sunset or landscape to take home. Adults. Registration is required!

Miss Melissa is the Children's Librarian at the Woodward Memorial Library and enjoys working with patrons of all ages! She started at WML as a Library Assistant in July 2018, but has worked at a number of libraries in Genesee county since 2014. Miss Melissa received her Bachelor's in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta in 2013 and recently completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Syracuse. At WML she leads library programs of all types, including storytimes, after-school programs, take-home kits, and adult crafts. She loves hearing your program ideas and making them a reality! 

 

Miss Melissa loves to read mysteries, romance, fantasy, and thrillers, and her favorite adult authors are Mary Kubica, Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Christina Lauren. Her favorite children's authors are Todd Parr, Eric Carle, Lucy Cousins, and Lemony Snicket, while her favorite young adult authors are John Green and Maureen Johnson.
